“If this podcast didn't have USA TODAY attached it would not be popular.
As a comedy and news junkie I thought it was gonna be a home run for me.
But I listened to the Nintendo episode and won't be coming back for more.
The concept itself sounds funny but the execution is not. His jokes are too flat and it's a good thing she finds them funny cause she has to hear them everyday for the rest of her life.
As a news junkie - this is a bad pass on news and she didn't even know the whole story about the Nintendo Switch - it was like she watched 15 seconds of the 5 minute presentation and got her news from there.
And he had nothing funny or interesting to say about the topic. Also - its weird that he doesn't watch read or listen to any news. Comedy I think helps to be informed and know what is going on in the world and if he doesn't watch or know anything - then he's just make jokes in a vacuum to himself.
And his Jeff Bezos joke was bad too. All his jokes were bad. 'Comedian' by hobby more than trade.
Just not funny and not good news.
