“A good idea for a podcast, but unfortunately it missed the mark. I slaved through a few episodes which consisted of slow witted small talk between the husband and wife, where Shannon was mildly entertaining and undeniably informative (hence the 2 stars) but Dusty (sorry mate) your delivery lacks wit and / or humour. You sound like a nice gentle and polite guy but that's not what I signed up for. I don't like writing negative reviews but wanted to be constructive and suggest you turn the humour dial up (a lot) maybe even plan some jokes in advance because it seems to be impro, and that's not working. Obviously the 'news' part will be compromised so maybe go with "I retell my husband the news.. So he can plan ahead and make some impactful jokes". Definitely don't give up because the idea is great.
