Instant BIG fan of this! Love it! YES including the recorder music which makes me laugh out loud as soon as I heard it. Nothing can beat the one-of-a-kind chemistry of siblings! The sisters are brilliant and this is a gem of a podcast.

Found the intro upsetting today. Poodle crosses are highly sensitive and clingy. Please look for a positive based trainer - and you’ll have the best ever friend 🐾

I love this podcast. The recorder music always makes me smile and Cathy and Rachel are really funny, they remind me of my own friends and I like the bants and the questions they ask. It is very original and different, that’s what i love most about it.

A little bit shocked by the remarks of some reviewers -be kind, guys! Rachel and Cath talk naturally and in the case of the one I am listening to now, Kiri and her brothers, they are conducting it with a very little touch. It is compelling

Love this pod, but it depends so much on the interviewees. Rosie Jones was amazing but the Pearson bros were dire. I think the girls just gave up on them. Keep up the good work 👍

Please, please can you write a short summary of guests in podcast description. Actor, comedian etc. Best known for…Not aware of all guests. Would attract more listeners!

Really enjoy this podcast but the intro recorder ‘music’ makes my ears bleed

Really interesting podcast. Shame about the recorder music- makes me wince

I was enjoying the podcast but had to stop listening as the awful awful music is too shrill, too loud and very very annoying. Not listenable, which is what a podcast should be. Read the reviews. Change the music. It’s got nothing to do with the subject matter and ruins it.

Really enjoyed listening to the podcast with Daisy May and Charlie Cooper. Not sure I will listen to more as the recording is horrendous, made me jump so much when driving!

I really enjoyed it. The hosts are great but the music is just ready for! I know it’s meant to be quirky but it really stops me wanting to listen to more!

The podcast with Frank and Keith was the best. I hope Frank makes the effort for Keith who was so warm and engaging and was perhaps more self aware than he was letting on. Could listen to hours of the brothers chatting.

Great idea for a podcast and really enjoyable, the episode with Frank Skinner and Keith Collins was particularly brilliant. If the music was replaced with something that didn’t make me want to curl up into a ball and scream, it would be 5 stars.

Fabulous. Funny, kind and above all honest. Even though the subject is sibling relationships there’s gold here which can help all of our relationships....

I have heard all the episodes now and the tales of siblings are very relatable Especially OUR Keith

I’m a huge Frank Skinner fan - he is genuinely the most consistently funny and enjoyable voice on radio or on podcasts - but this podcast is so poorly delivered that even the episode featuring the interview with him and his (obviously decent and interesting) brother is thoroughly screwed up. The...Read full review »

I never had Frank Skinner down as patient but after listening to a few of these podcasts, I can only assume he’s a saint. Rachel sounds lovely and genuinely interested in people while Cath is grating, self-obsessed and seems to revel in being manipulative and controlling. Everything is about her...Read full review »

Hilarious couldn’t stop laughing. Could relate to some of the tales.

Really enjoy this podcast 💓 However the recorder music pierces my ears as I listen on headphones. Ouch!

This was recommended by Cathy Mason’s partner, Frank Skinner, on his award-winning podcast, but that’s where the similarities end. Awful off key recorder stings, inane babble and constant swearing. Not for me.
mrslogicforviz via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 01/16/21
I had high hopes for this after it was recommended by the legendary Frank Skinner. However I have to pity him being hitched to the epically self-obsessed Cath Mason. She must be extremely hard work to live with. Rachel does a good job and has sufficient of the basic human skills of empathy and...Read full review »

Cath Mason must be one of the most unpleasant people existing. Who thought this podcast a good idea? Ugh

Really interesting podcast. Good concept & great siblings conversation. Recorder makes my ears bleed!

A new podcast so I won’t be unkind but the interviews have been a mixed bag so far. The dynamic between siblings can be uncomfortable. I will keep listening.

Wow. Self absorbed rubbish. Two women so self obsessed with themselves they feel the need to pretend they’re also obsessed with their sibling. Since they’re a bit bored of that they drag their spouses into it to spend over an hour to get them to talk about, yes you’ve guessed it...... In this...Read full review »

I’ve only listened to two of these, mainly to hear Cathy and Rachel chat with each other. Unfortunately, they hardly said a word. The guests may be interesting, but we need more from the hosts. I don’t mind the swearing or the dodgy recorder. Just need more input from the Masons. That’s what I’m...Read full review »

Great podcast 👍 terrible sound. Had to keep pulling my earphones out. The recorder is especially painful. Ouch

I love the concept of this show. Sibling rivalry is universal and often very amusing. I love the guests! The thing is, I find the 2 hosts completely unlikeable and basically mean and unpleasant??? Im sure they’re not but they are missing something that makes me find this amusing and sweet rather...Read full review »

Really interesting listening to this and reflecting on own sibling relationship. Lost brother in his 30s, over 20 years ago so then became only child so able to compare. Most memories are childhood and disagree with comments on here as think that recorder signature tune takes you back to that time.

Enjoyable enough but if I’m honest, I could take it or leave it. Great idea, I’m just not convinced on the presenters. And that god awful recorder music is painful, just horrible to listen to.

I really liked this and each episode has had something in it that chimed with my own person experience with my siblings! Really like the hosts too; their interview technique is very much like a dinner party conversation. Stopped short of five stars due to the recorder music (I get why it’s...Read full review »

Ok
This is more about who they have on the podcast rather than the actual interviewers. Good for listening to on the drive home or to fall asleep to at night. They need to get rid of the awful recorder music which for some reason deliberately plays duff notes! My guess is trying to be innovative yet...Read full review »

So disappointed in this podcast. I love Frank Skinner so was keen to listen to his other half and her sister interviewing comedians/celebrities. Maybe it’s not meant to be funny and I just assumed that it would be. I don’t know who thought that the recorder was a good idea. It physically...Read full review »

Tried to listen to the Charlie and Daisy May Cooper episode, but the presenters talk over each other and the guests so much it sounds so annoying and disorganised

What a great find! Heard Frank Skinner on his podcast mention Caths new podcast so gave it a try. Nice to hear all different siblings experiences. It’s not only really funny but also very refreshing compare to many other females podcasts out there. Only prob is the adverts are SO loud.

I enjoy this podcast, but have to echo other reviewers about the recorder music: it is excrutiating! I hope they get rid of it soon!

Loved the first one and will listen to more, however, hated the recorder music and had to fast forward.

This is a delicious listen apart from the shrill recorder. I will stick with it but means I can’t play while relaxing. Would have been 5 stars.

As a long time reader and big fan of Frank Skinner I was intrigued by Cath’s podcast; I enjoyed it immensely- I love the recorder, the swearing, the siblings bickering. More please ladies 🤗🤗🤗

Really enjoyed the first episode. Only thing I’d change is to get rid of the recorder sounds throughout the conversation, bit too jarring.

I thought the idea of examining the dynamics between siblings to be an excellent idea for a podcast. The first episode gave us an insight into the relationship between Henry and Josh Widdicombe. Sadly I found myself cringing at Cath’s unnecessary foul language. I’m not precious about swearing...Read full review »

Found this through Frank Skinner podcast and was interested to see how Rachel is doing as I used to work with her sometimes. This was a very fresh, captivating podcast. It’s brave too, exposing the raw aspects of family relationships. Also prodding to see how come they work when it seems Henry and Josh could have thoroughly been at odds. If this a form of therapy it doesn’t feel like it. It feels as though Cathy...Read full review »
