“Hello!
This podcast has been very helpful for me to be able to practice and gain extra details during my IELTS preparation process. Unfortunately, there are few episodes where the audio its very, very, VERY bad! In episodes like the one called “IELTS Writing Tips”, aside from the very good advice from the speaker, the quality of her recording is very low quality. This cause that one has to turn up the volume TOO MUCH, almost to an unsafe level for the ears. Also, the location where she had the microphone located didn’t help either. It made her voice sound in a more “breathy”way making the direction of her words coming out not moving towards the microphone. That’s a serious issue, I can understand that those hard-to-listen conversations are part of the way IELTS qualifies your capabilities to listen and understand, but those technical mistakes are simply bad production and “no-no’s” in terms of audio.
Please, take this in consideration for future episodes! If you hear and notice that the audio quality is very low whilst your volume levels are higher, make sure to re-record the episode one more time. I know it sounds boring and almost absurd! But it is better that way.
