“Krista Allen started out, as many people did, as a B-level actress in the early '90s, but has gone on to be a prolific, regularly working one in a town where some of the most talented people I've ever met regularly go slinking home to wherever they're from in defeat (that's what I did, lol). Ironically, she strugged with low self-esteem when she was younger despite being both charming and gorgeous (no, she didn't pay me to write this), and perhaps as a result became a regular reader of self-help books. In this no-BS podcst she reviews a different self-help book every week and talks about various topics along the way, with the help of the many friends she's amassed in Hollywood over the years who guest in every episode. It's funny, it's fun, it's informative, and believe it or not has confirmed pretty much what every woman I respect, from my sister to my old life coach, have tried to teach me about women. It's the only podcast I listen to religiously and I highly recommend it, ESPECIALLY if you don't think it will be your cup of tea. I started out thinking that Ms. Allen and I would have absolutely noting in commo and came away thinking she was my sister in another life, and I can't recommend it enough. Check it out, you won't regret it, and if you do, Ms. Allen can give you the book to cope with how it made you feel. ;)”Read full review »
