Description
Bridezilla vs. Bridechilla. There is so much pressure on brides when organising a wedding, and the addition of these unhelpful labels only add to it. We all know what a Bridezilla is - but does being assertive make you a bridezilla? The new cool term is Bridechilla - which is a bride who is totally relaxed. Basically the "good" bride. But it can be just as unhealthy to put pressure on ourselves to be "chill". Especially when this comes at the cost of ignoring, not honouring, how you are feeling and letting others overwhelm you. Brides need to know it is OKAY to be stressed, to feel overwhelmed, to stand up for themselves (especially when they are contributing so much money!) and to be assertive. Our first interview with psychologist Alexandra Griffin.
