SERIES FINALE: My Real Covid Wedding
Listen now
Description
Natalie Klein is a real-bride, in fact - she was married two weeks ago. What that means, is that she had her wedding during the pandemic here in Australia - despite the restrictions which I know are causing people a lot of stress and anxiety - including the 'no-dancing' rule. Natalie split her wedding into 2 different days, 2 months apart. A small ceremony with close family, complete with photography, videography and styling in June, and a reception two months later in August, which was subject to all of the social distancing rules - including restrictions around seating plans, no dancing with guests and no shared meals. Natalie talks me through her wedding planning journey - from the start of her planning when no-one had even heard the words 'cover-19', through to watching the updates change on the news, seeing other weddings postpone or cancel, and how thinking and acting quickly and confidently with her plans, allowed her to have an amazing day - despite being in the middle of a global pandemic.
