For the final episode of the short podcast series about work/life balance in the Institute and academia in general, Miriam and Lydia have a chat with principal investigators from our institute, Dr Eirini Kaiserli, Prof John Christie, Prof Helen Walden, Dr Matt Jones, Dr Thimo Kurz and Chief Technician Mr Paul Paterson. They discuss their personal approach for time and expectation management and establishing that work/life balance isn’t one-size-fits-all. They also talk about the importance in research of stepping back to think creatively, as well as being an empathetic leader when managing a group.
