Normally this doesn’t bug me since I’m also bad at it, but I don’t do a podcast. This show more than any other I listen to has hosts/guests that say “um” way too often.

An audio podcast with terrible audio quality is difficult to listen to regardless of the content. Great potential here but I don’t understand how the sound quality can be so bad.
Dr. Deming via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/05/23
Why do cheaters of some podcast don’t care how they sound? The quality is horrible. Get a proper mic and sound isolation, have you even listened back how we actually hear it? Think of the end user.

iMore just hasn’t been the same since Rene Richie, Georgia, Serenity and Lori have left, they all had big personalities and the people that have replaced them are kinda meh, i still like iMore, but for me it’s the beginning of the end of this show.

Generally a fun and rambunctious podcast, until Karen pops in with her downer takes on technology. She doesn’t like ANYTHING new. Ruins the entire podcast for me.

This show brings me insight and joy thank you so much

Over the past few years we heard a lot of hosts and co-hosts. Some were great, some were okay. The last duo is a perfect match and the most importantly is the fact that Karen finally talks more. Over the years her opinions and inputs are on point and very much respected. I always like hearing her...Read full review »

It is increasingly clear why Rene is no longer involved with Imore. Presently the main guy admits to not using a Mac as his main computer!

They do a live podcast every single week and they do it greatly. Very fun, useful and with lots of useful topics. The conductors are really great. It’s just enjoyable to listen to. Great job!

Interesting analysis of Apple’s business, great discussions. They collectively have some great experience and can talk from the point of view of “is this good for the grandparents and students we used to serve at the Apple store?” and “does this pro device meet the needs of actual professionals?”...Read full review »

OMG stop talking Joe, the guy doesn’t let anyone talk. This show gets worse every 6 months, all the smart and articulate people have left. Obviously not the place to be. See ya imore

This used to be timely and informative and filled with interesting opinions. Since the Holy Trinity left, the presentation is poorer and disjointed, the info is often garbled and the opinions often seemed based either on very limited experience or non-majority of the real users use cases. I’m sad.

Christine is soooooooo meh…her energy (or rather, lack thereof) was completely off putting and caused awkward pauses. She sounds almost as if she’s bored.
nigeloniusZA via Apple Podcasts · South Africa · 09/06/21
This podcast was one of my favorites until Rene Lori and Georgia all left. The new hosts are dull and boring I tried I can’t even get through and episode without falling asleep even tried watching it on you tube . Nope sad a good podcast was ruined
drex27rangers via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/17/21
Hate to say it but the old presenters used to be a lot better. There’s only so………..many……….unnecessary……….pauses………I………can……..take
the_driver via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 05/18/21
Hmm…. I mean no disrespect here but Christine has no personality and sounds like she doesn’t want to be there. It may as well be called the Joe Show.

That’s good enough… As for the rest I’m going to go with if you don’t have anything else good to say,…

Lory, Rene, & Georgia left, so did the energy of this show. I tried to hang in there, but the occasional female tech writer (not Karen) who is on the show drives me nuts with her one word answers. I’m afraid the fewer advances in basic tech devices are going to shutter many of these tech...Read full review »

After finding myself deleting the episode without listening or even stopping without finishing, I can’t recommend this show any longer. I’m tired of the general Apple bashing and unrealistic tech dream-casting.
Ctravelr via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/13/21
Yet another of my long time podcasts from which I’m forced to unsubscribe. The new hosts couldn’t sound more bored if they tried.
DarthChrisChris via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/12/21
Since Georgia, Mikah, Rene and Lori have left there has been a decline in personality in the show, it’s rather dry and at times boring, they cover the news well but it’s just not lively and up beat like the old panel.
MikeP520 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/09/21
The show declined since Rene Ritchie no longer contributes. Joe Keller is Ok, but Karen Freeman contributes nothing. Why is she even on the podcast? I no longer listen. It has become mostly boring.
Bcat68 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/05/21
I hate to leave a bad review but the last podcast just put me over the edge (5th Feb). One of the presents sounded like they were using the inbuilt mic and there was constant sound of the mic being banged and lip smacking. No thanks. Gone down hill since the original cast left.

The new host is just painful to listen to... I can’t do it anymore.

How can I believe what you say in tech when you political cometary is extremely left wing and very often not even the truth. Sorry iMore ( maybe should be called iLie) I’m not going to listen to your podlies any more.

Piss poor job !
TheMovieHound via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/12/21
Great when lead by Rene, so his moving on was a big blow, but now they feel need to mix their politics with tech news. We can get that in a million places. I suspect this won’t be around for long.Time to sign off
NoPain NoGain via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 01/11/21
The content is always relevant, concise and detailed. I’m always learning and love the balanced reporting of the pros/cons of each new feature, technology or software release. If deep dives into the tech are your thing. This is a great place to learn.

I have enjoyed this podcast for years and years . I have to honest Lori is horrible she sounds drunk and never can complete her thoughts or even know all the details to what she is trying to say and the intro is awful why good afternoon with that voice OMG !!

I really like the iMore show, no other Apple tech podcast understands the difference between fanboy and general user perspectives and constantly checks themselves. Having said that a bit more explanation of new technology in lay person terms would be good. One irritation is the show notes links...Read full review »

This show used to be decent - good even. The hosts keep saying “you know” as a filler. It’s become so annoying that the show is unlistenable. They need to speak with purpose and stop with the mindless filler. Painful to listen to.

Well that’s a wrap: Thanks for the years of entertainment Rene, you held the show together. Now it’s time to say goodbye. Review 1: I’ve been subscribed for years, but I’ve almost had enough. I don’t like the new show led by Mika And Lori. I find myself turning it off halfway through. Nothing...Read full review »

Conversational, constructive, and not whiney. I really enjoy it.

A nice, formative podcast about everything from the Apple world. The hosts are a lot of fun and while they are not afraid to let their inner-fanboy/girl out, they are very level-headed so they aren't going to lead you astray. I enjoy listening to it when I get some free time on the weekends...Read full review »

The new narrator just rambles with no understanding of the issue. Just listened to her say Apple should bring back battery status for batteries they don’t make. Why doesn’t Sony have to explain why Xbox controllers don’t work with ps4?
Tanker57 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/20/19
Love this show when it’s Rene, Georgia, & Lori. It’s more about the point of the show.
