Nury Martinez
Before listening to the episodes featuring Ms. Martinez I didn’t have an opinion about her work but of course had read the press about the tapes of the LA City Council meeting. After hearing this podcast I came away thinking while (obviously) wrong what Ms. Martinez (and her male colleagues) said, her apologies feel sincere. And i kept thinking, why have the men not been held to the same account? Whether or not there is a similar podcast-accounting of the men, I wish Ms. Martinez grace and good will in the future. She made a terrible mistake, has repeatedly apologized, and should be provided the same “second chance” most adults say they wish anyone who has made a grievous error should have.

More reviews of Imperfect Paradise
I love the premise, I want to love this series. Unfortunately it feels like 80% of each episode is replays from previous episodes with very little new content.

My deepest condolences to the familia. Thank you for telling his story and doing a great job at it. Such an important piece to include in Chicano history.

Excellent reporting about important snapshots of culture and history in Southern CA. Both Season 1 and 2 were informative. I look forward to more episodes.
