Season 2: The Forgotten Revolutionary
The podcast was riveting and suspenseful in how it laid out the evidence obtained concerning the death of a promising Chicano activist from the 1990s. To me, the show speaks of complicated grief that still haunts his family and friends after 28 years. I was involved in queer Latinx activism from 1998-2003, several years after the people interviewed in the podcast at a UC campus. I now live in San Diego/Tijuana, where the journalist is from. I loved his synopsis of the movement while I was in middle and high school. I look forward to future podcasts by LAist.

The guru Jagat pod was hilarious - I was human trafficked by her for years (forced labor). She was a nutcase & extremely dangerous. Good riddance.
