A fascinating ride
Great podcast. Loved the journey Adolfo took me on both into Oscar’s life and his own. Identity is such a fascinating topic. I’m a “China Latina” contemporary of both men. Graduated college in 1996. I had a lot of thoughts during the first few episodes about all the “fighting” and anger of the student movements of that period. It’s why I couldn’t ever join. Now that I have a few decades of life and spiritual education under my belt, I understand my discomfort. Perhaps Oscar was starting to feel the internalization of all the anger.

More reviews of Imperfect Paradise
At Sherrif Villanueva. They stick very closely to just the facts ma’am, which makes it all the more devastating.

I listened to all three parts in one sitting. It was a hard listen at times, but I feel better informed having heard this story. I hope more folks are made aware of these complex issues, and I can’t wait to see what else the podcast tackles.

Great job, Adolfo! I appreciate learning of an important person who was not known to me. Great detective work.
