Remembering Jacob
I remember when this happened and I was about his age. I grew up in MN and remember hearing, wondering & being warned about what happened. Later, when I went off to school, I went to a college in St. Joe. Even years later, I still felt the effect Jacob had there. And my sophomore year, a junior went missing. Josh Guimond disappeared one night. It was crazy and scary to think of the possibilities. I searches the woods with other volunteers and let hoping (and not) that we would find some clue of Josh or Jacob. Nothing came from that. I only hope that Josh's family can get some kind of closure like the Wetterlings. I still think about both even though it's been 27 years for one and about 13 years for the other. The timing of this podcast couldn't be better...the fact that this 27 year tragedy is solved literally the week the podcast is released only adds to the interest and drama. I am seriously looking forward to listening to this. Crazy how it is coming out in a few days, when they found his remains today. As a Minnesotan I have always kept tabs on this case. My heart aches for the Wetterling family. May Jacob rest in peace.
