I’ve been listening to Ink to Film podcast since 2019 and it keeps getting better. Most of the source material really interests me, and either I get a whole new take on something I’ve already read or watched, or I’m introduced to something that I might have completely overlooked. I love the deep...Read full review »

Comparing books to film is one of my favorite pastimes. It’s awesome to see an entire podcast dedicated to it! Luke & James always do their homework & fill each episode with interesting facts and trivia about the media they are discussing. Highly recommended!

If you start with episode you can tell that these guys are new to podcasting but they do get better. They really do some research on each book and movie and provide more info about the author or director that you normally would know. My favorite was their Harry Potter episode. Really love the concept of comparing the book to the movie, because who doesn’t already do that in their head? Thanks for all the research you do on the authors/directors and especially calling out details of the medium that you know from your professions.

I love how the idea behind this show & execution! I feel like I’m in a book club with books that I’ve actually read & not some obscure title. Loved The Godfather & all the insight

I came across the podcast with the recent episodes about Good Omens - as they were doing a giveaway for the book (which I won). I binged the episodes and a lot of earlier episodes on a bus trup to NYC. Very insightful discussions of both books and their film versions. I’m definitely adding this...Read full review »

I love recommending this podcast to friends & family! It’s such a change of pace compared to the other podcasts I listen to each week. Occasionally, they even help me “win” debates with friends (the Them & the Losers Club similarities) 😊

This podcast quickly became my favorite after listening to all of the episodes in two weeks. There are so many great discussions about my favorite books and movies, and it’s exposed me to so many new books that I never would have found otherwise. Highly recommend!

This is the podcast I’ve been waiting for. Luke & James do a ton of great work breaking down not only the book, but also the film adaptation of the book. They also dive into the background of the authors/filmmakers and each respective work. I love it and look forward to each new episode.

Ink to Film takes a deceptively simple sounding concept and does it just right: Each episode tackles either a book/story or the movie that was based on it. Because they split things up between book and movie the podcast gives each room to breath, allowing the two clever hosts to tackle each on...Read full review »
