A long weekend in the Bahamas last year with Ren Chapman resulted in some clear water and breath taking undersea oceanscapes. Lionfish are invasive and dangerous to the Western Atlantic Ocean's ecology, but their erradication can be sporting and after removing the poisonous spines, they actually taste great! It is vital to educate yourself about the sport of Freediving, and there are no better trainers than Martin Stepanek and Niki Roderick. Kelly White, Alex Llinas and I set some new personal bests and managed to have some fun along the way.
