My son was diagnosed with Bipolar 2 in Australia late last year. I am trying to learn as much as I can. Just rolling back to your first episode to start from the beginning... So far my first listen has really helped me, hopefully continued listening can help me help my son more.

I came across show recently in a desperate attempt to understand what my love one is going to through with this diagnosis. I’ve listened and it has helped me to see through Gabe, the experiences of someone with bipolar and the clinical side from Dr. Nicole. This creates a great balance and...Read full review »

The topics can be super interesting at first blush, but I find the hosts to be unsympathetic and patronizing towards people’s personal choices, particularly in regards to medication. I think the show could use a trigger warning for people who consider themselves psychiatric survivors. We are...Read full review »

Thank you so much for this informative podcast. I really like the rapport between Gabe and Dr Nicole, the lighthearted yet kind way they talk about touchy subjects makes it easier to hear difficult topics. I am newly diagnosed with Bipolar 2 about a year and a half ago and it’s really been a...Read full review »

People who freak out about saying they shouldn’t drink. Are the people who shouldn't drink. I know I shouldn’t, but do. How much or how little is beside the point. I just shouldn’t, ever. No one should. It’s a poison. Period. Telling people what they NEED to hear isn’t always easy. Keep...Read full review »

I’m still in the 2022 episodes. I’d like to hear more from Dr Nicole. Gabe certainly has wisdom to share, and I’m glad he’s using his platform this way, but I find myself fast forwarding through much of what he says because he uses a lot of words to express a thought. I think he’s taking a...Read full review »

As someone with bipolar I appreciate that there are podcasts and people taking about the seriousness of bipolar. However this podcast is more a casual convo than a space to get serious information. In a world where it’s so important to cite your sources and trust but verify, I find myself...Read full review »

Two incredibly valuable perspectives - from an advocate with invaluable lived experience and from a psychiatrist! I feel so comforted and grateful knowing that this podcast exists and sometimes even breathe a sigh of relief when they start talking. Like sitting down with old friends!

I started listening a few weeks ago and I’m hooked! As a person with bipolar disorder there are few opportunities to hear about other people’s experiences with the disorder that really resonate with my own. I tried to find a good bipolar podcast a year or two ago but was largely disappointed. I decided to give it one more search and found this gem. I burned through 3 straight episodes while working out at the gym and have now downloaded more. This is a GREAT new tool to put in the bipolar tool kit.

My ex has bipolar. He was diagnosed after our marriage ended and I left because of domestic violence. I’d love to hear an episode about the intersection of this mental illness and domestic violence.

I just listened to the agitation and irrationality podcast and I had a moment of relief. When medication was talked about being the possible reason for agitation,I related. Great podcast and the silliness makes it a little easier to take the information in. I was just diagnosed with bipolar too and I’m terrified. I hope they do an episode with ADHD and bipolar 2

I often wonder what Gabe is like in real life. Is he this well spoken, chipper, and wise while eating lunch with his co-workers? What is a meeting like with that forceful push toward the goal?
