Description
The idea of an all-Ireland food standards zone as part of a Brexit solution has remained at the top of the political agenda this week. It would mean Northern Ireland continuing to follow EU rules after Brexit as a way to prevent checks at the border. The Prime Minister's advisor has discussed the idea in Brussels - and it hasn't been ruled out by the DUP. Food products would also be hit with new and significant non-tariff barriers to trade with the EU. So how prepared is the industry?
