I only just discovered Inside the Comedian at the beginning of the apocalypse and have been revisiting them this week. I sincerely hope that it returns as things become more normal again, as it’s quite, quite brilliant! Am always in complete awe of improv. Bravo

Wonderfully daft and hugely entertaining, with many great episodes and guests. I love hearing guests give a response that leaves David somewhat nonplussed, and get the sense sometimes that David is sending up the guest - that everyone plays along just makes it more interesting and funny....Read full review »

Improv at its best; a series of hilarious surreal improvised interviews with the incredibly quick witted David Reed and his often equally quick witted guests; highly recommend

Just listened to the Isy Suttie episode with high hopes but it was dreadful. Unfunny, absurd and just childish humour, revealing nothing about Isy herself but rather going on about having limbs grafted to her head and being a dentist in her bedroom. To have the entire podcast comprising of...Read full review »

A lot of fun. Some really fantastic guests. Full of brilliant improvisation from both David and his guests.

Just found this podcast and saw my favourite John Luke Roberts was on it! Now nearly listened to all of them - wonderful slices of absurdity and silliness. Great stuff

David Reed does such in-depth research into comedian guests, and is such a brilliant improviser himself, that the concept of an interview where everything is false is incredibly funny. Every episode is gold. Reed and every single one of his guests are just hilarious.

Wonderful, escapist humour - incredibly clever at times, fantastically silly at others. Difficult to fathom the talent it takes to make this work, but David and the interviewees are more than up to the task. Enjoy.

It's back in full audio for both ears. The latest in a series of podcasts in this series returns for a new series. The doyen of dialogue, the nonpareil of interlocution David Reed asks questions of his comic guests that they, and maybe he, didn’t expect and their answers will leave...Read full review »

Good spoof interviews with some genuinely hysterical verbal sparring between host and guest. Can't wait for the next series. Thanks.Read full review »

Insightful behind-the-scenes take on the lives of comedians today, with all the ups, downs and challenges and none of the fluff!

This is amazing. I love David Reed in the penny dreadfuls and the guests so far are great. Laugh out loud funny with their wry stupidity.

David Reed (Penny Dreadfuls, Film Fandango) 'interviews' comedians about the unbelievably true highs and lows of their career. Very funny, a nice counterpoint to the insightful but terribly earnest comedy interview podcast format.Read full review »

If like me you listen to multiple podcasts with comedians interviewing other comedians with varying degrees of seriousness you'll probably find this improvised parody a very enjoyable listen.Read full review »

Having seen one show recorded live, I've been looking forward to the release of this for ages. Comedians interviewing other comedians has long been a podcast staple, and it's about time this format was spoofed. Fantastic!Read full review »
