“I recently checked out the ITB podcast and wish I'd had a resource like this in medical school. I have always been a good, but not great, standardized test taker and while I did well in medical school, I was vastly outperformed by some students on shelf and step exams without really understanding why, since I always felt like I had a good grasp on the content. I think that an approach like what ITB teaches would have made all the difference.
This podcast gets the learner into the frame of mind of the test question writer, focusing on practical test-taking strategy rather than emphasizing the memorization of endless content devoid of proper context (what I mostly did as a student). In the years I've spent in medical school and then preparing for residency inservice exams and ultimately the pediatric board exam, I have stumbled by trial and error on a few of the strategies Dr. Beeman teaches. A resource like this encapsulates this trial and error experience and puts it in a nice, accessible format from the get-go. Even though my student days are long behind me, I think that the concepts that ITB relates here will prove very useful in preparing for my pediatrics board recertification exam.”Read full review »

“This in an incredible podcast. As a current MS2, my stress levels for STEP1 are constantly very high.
