“I love listening to these pod casts. Obviously, they would be better if it wasn't for the pestry rules around disclosing classfied information. My kids expressed interest in the field but it's hard not being a field you can show your child the ropes. Tahe ask me what they should study to get into the field and I suggest computer science, big data, analystics, and correlation. I would like to hear a pod cast in how one prepares themselves.
Also, I have a home based domestic spying program that gathers and correlates information happening on our home network. One of the hardest things about gathering information I find is knowing too much and see raw communications. It's easy to get mad and want to challenge people thus giving away the methods and sources. A president even told my father that he perferred not to know to much as it was hard to conduct US foreign policy with someone you knew was morally repugnant. I woudl be interested in a show talking about "knowing too much" and how one compartmentalizes what one knows.”Read full review »
