Intriguing and troubling
As a young Christian wannabe physicist in graduate studies, I find some solace here where people do not proudly promote natural materialism in their exposition of science. I have enjoyed some of the podcasts in the way they make the connection between science and philosophy (and I am glad they are making the effort). However some of the podcasts can become self-confirming in their approach (i.e. asking questions that have expected answers or really basic questions) and also not carrying a critical attitude (It can be easy to gloss over details when listening to a interviewer who is not really engaging with the interviewee but rather just asking preset questions). As to the claims of incorrect categorisation of this podcast, this is no longer in the science category but the social science category (which is a laughable choice, and perhaps reflects the perspective Apple has concerning social science). Personally I would classify this in the philosophy category (although the lack of critical engagement might disqualify this choice to an extent). As to the claim that this is pseudoscience, perhaps this is pointing to the attitude by some in the scientific community (of which I was one as well) that discussion of philosophy is no longer really needed or even has its place in the sciences, or that the only accepted kind of philosophy is natural materialism. Cheers to the effort you guys put in, and I hope this podcast will get better with time. Keep up the good work! I hope that the comments (the constructive type) will help with shaping this podcast and putting it on a better direction for the future.
