So brilliant for those of us with young families trying to establish good values and practical ways of engaging our kids. Dynamic relevant content especially for those serving in ministry trying to break negative cycle. Also great to listen to on the school run as it’s only 20mins 😅🙌🏼

I absolutely love this podcast. Could not stop taking notes. Wish I would’ve had this wisdom when my two oldest kids were younger. So thankful to have it for my other two! Thank you!

I get that you want these to be “quick” but progress and growth is a process… let the listener experience that too!

Wow, this is an incredible podcast. Loved every episode, but my only hang up was Jeff was talking SO FAST the whole time and he KEPT INTERRUPTING his co-host and speaking over him. He must learn to ask a question and sit quietly during the answer and SLOW DOWN as he speaks.

My husband and I are blown away as well!!! Can’t wait for more. Would LOVE a mother version of podcast or daughter version or at least some episodes on that subject!! Thanks YALL!!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Absolutely blown away & blessed by this podcast. Such a crucial conversation for such a time as this. As a parent expecting our second, this is essential to parents today.

Seriously love this content and the speakers. So needed in the church and just for parents in general. But I agree, Bethke needs to slow down and let Tyson talk. I appreciate his enthusiasm but you can make more episodes if you need to talk that much; we already love the content!

As an adoptive family, my wife and I simply can’t afford being anything but intentional with our daughters. I’m grateful for the wisdom and insights Jeff and Jon share throughout the series’ short conversations. From big ideas and broad strokes, to practical, down-to-earth examples and...Read full review »

this series is truly transformative - for mothers and fathers. The dynamic between Jon and Jeff is powerful, they work together to give POWERFUL advice for leading your family. I am recommending this series (and these two authors) to many now! Each episode is impactful!

Will be listening to this multiple times - it’s that good!! Thank you for doing this podcast and sharing so much wisdom for families

Guys. This podcast is so necessary. It has my mind buzzing about the ways to apply it in one of the ways I will use it is to help fellow dads at my church my reading them through a Sunday school discussion.. you all are providing content that has been sorely lacking especially in the evangelical...Read full review »

Loved every episode. A vital framework for thinking and leading your family well. Thank you 🙏🏻 Only wish Jefferson Bethke would stop and listen more to Jon Tyson and let him finish his thoughts - he talks so much more and interrupts so much and it’s frustrating. I wanted to hear more from Jon...Read full review »

I haven’t read Jeff’s book (yet)… but I had Jon’s on pre-order since it first got announced as his stuff has become a bit of a staple in our household over the years. I can’t begin to tell you about the fire it’s been setting in my own heart and the hearts of those I’m recommending it to. It’s...Read full review »

Great podcast but Jeff really needs to slow down and let Jon finish his thoughts. It’s very distracting.

Counter cultural and biblical. Will miss this series so much when it ends. It’s been so encouraging and eye opening.

Young adult in Riverside, CA with no blueprint to biblical family until these last few years. Listening on study breaks. Love when you guys share to each other and we get to hear the raw excitement lol

Good stuff, good guys, Jeff speaks very quickly and interrupts a lot. Both guys have great stuff to share.

Jefferson, please slow down. Take a breath. Let Jon finish his sentences. Stop interrupting. Listen. Please. Such good insights, but so distracting. Low key thought my listening speed was 2x when Jefferson was talking.
David Meye via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/31/21
Thoroughly enjoy this content just wish Jeff would slow down and stop interrupting.

I listened to episode 6 and my mind is on fire! When you hear wisdom from an angle that you’ve never heard but know in your spirit its extremely important, that’s me listening to this podcast. Thanks for parenting outside the box!
Matt_PA via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/25/21
Mr. Bethke, please be slow to speak. You’re interrupting Mr. Tyson quite often which makes the discussion hard to listen to at times.
JT_Caldwell via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/23/21
Love the content, but my one critique (said out of a place of love) is that Jeff doesn’t really stop to listen or give space for Jon to complete his thoughts or speak without being interrupted. Unfortunately, that part was actually quite distracting and took away from the content itself. Maybe...Read full review »

I enjoy this so much and it is so needed in the world. I want to give it 5 stars but Jeff…. You interrupt and talk over a lot and it makes it very hard to listen too.

Jeff and Tyson, I just want to thank you for putting this series together. It is so inspiring hearing you both think-tank on how to be an intentional father. These podcasts are pure fathering GOLD! I am planning on going back through these, especially podcasts 3 and 4 and re-listen to them,...Read full review »

These episodes are filled with pure golden nuggets — be ready to take notes. I echo other’s sentiments: could be longer and Bethke needs to slow down and tone down the active listening. Been looking for content like this for some time now and very grateful this exists.
Sperskies via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/16/21
Great content which gives you plenty to think about. Jeff speaks waaaay too fast though! 😃

Love the wisdom that is so readily shared in this podcast. 4 stars because I find Bethke consistently interrupting or out competing a lot of great wisdom. Same thing occurred in his dual podcast with Comer. Makes it difficult to hear the wisdom points at times.

Thanks for putting this podcast together. This first episode really touched my heart and has pushed me to seek to be more intentional in my life. With my kids and my wife. Thank so much can’t wait to listen to the rest of what you guys have to say on these topics!

This is Gold mate! Please go longer.. it’s so needed and y’all’s wisdom on the topics would be of great benefit to so many. Slow down Jefferson :-)
