A total of 27 papers were delivered by speakers from the UK, mainland Europe, North and South America and Japan. Speakers included leading established experts in the field and early career researchers, among them postgraduate students. The conference attracted another 35 participants from the UK and Europe. Response from all participants was enthusiastic. The quality of the papers was very high and negotiations for publication are underway with a major press.
