Hi Brian, I'm a consistent listener to your excellent podcasts. Your approach to interviews and the technical content draws me in such that I end up studying the content's technical aspects. Please keep up your wonderful podcasts, they give me the most interesting subjects to listen to...Read full review »

Love your podcast and all the spontaneous dad jokes!

Brian, I love your podcast, but your defense of slave ownership in your culture was truly horrible. Like it was somehow more morally appropriate that in other cultures. Sam is such a patient person! In his place, I would say to you that religion melted your once beautiful mind.

And Sam joins the ranks of podcast people who ask “right?” In the middle of every other sentence. So linguistically lazy.

So interesting! Did Weinstein ever talk to Donald Hoffman? Isn’t that what he’s looking for? Wow, a week later your guest is Hoffman, so great! Love all the insides from your podcast! -PS: the conversation with Don Hoffman is an old Clubhouse talk from around two years ago, isn’t it? Maybe...Read full review »

Brian, I think it’s disappointing some people unsubed after the Sam Harris episode because they are MAGA crybabies. That’s not why I unsubscribed. You’re indefensible defense of slavery ( oh I am sorry servitude) is just mental gymnastics and a waste of Sam’s time. The if / butts / candies /...Read full review »

TBH, I don’t understand the physics ones, but all the ones that don’t require any or at least too much physics, like the ones with with Eugenia Cheng (category theory) and Robert Spolsky, Eric Weinstein were great! Eric is one of the smartest and wittiest podcasters, as well.

Try letting your guests speak more and you less, much less. Maybe practice asking a question with less than a 1,000 words ? Go listen to your latest "interview" with Sabine, you LITERALLY spoke more than your guest. Why have guests, just subject your listeners to a 90 minute monologue....Read full review »

I’m only a rare podcast listener, but Into the Impossible is one of my few go-tos for great guests and insightful conversation about science. Definitely worth listening to if you love science, or if you want to learn why you should.

Brian says never had formal interview training, but it doesn’t take much to realize talking more than your guests, or taking 200 words to ask a question which could be asked with 20 is suboptimal. Self-edit, or get an editor/producer, you are wasting an opportunity and our time.
