Because it seems to be more about politics and religion than actual astronomy.

He dropped that little tidbit in latest episode and confirmed a lot of what my spidey senses had been telling me.

I am a curious normie and I love this podcast. It is like sitting in a room with awesomely intelligent people and just taking in whatever they are talking about. Cosmology and Physics, but you can just be a regular guy and get so much out of it all.

Try letting your guests speak more and you less, much less. Maybe learn to ask a question with less than a 1,000 words ? Go listen to your most recent "interview" with Sabine, you LITERALLY spoke more than your guest. Why have guests ? Just subject your listeners to a 90 minute...Read full review »

I’ve really attempted to give this podcast a day in court. As intellectual as he may consider himself to be, as a “skeptic,” Prof Keating is a fraud whose specialty is knocking over strawmen.

Regarding the podcast with Danny Jones. Went he spoke about pilots involved in the the infamous Tic Tac incident he said in essence any pilot can make a mistake of sightings; he didn’t account for the fact there were at least 4 pilots that had a visual sighting of it and one additional that had a...Read full review »

In a past life I was pursuing a career in Physics, and this podcast allowed me to reach back into the past to a younger self. Brian you can’t let your friend Eric come on your show and make a fool of himself denouncing the gravity Fauci’s “lies about masks.” It makes Eric seem ridiculous.

Dr Keating is an engaging and effective communicator. Unfortunately he is more and more focused on “boosting fringe voices” or bringing in his (Trumper) political or religious views, and less and less explaining key concepts in consensus physics. He seems very motivated by clickbaiting and...Read full review »

If there is an astrophysicist I’d like to have a beer with it’s Dr. Brian Keating. Even though he over emphasizes Galileo‘s house arrest, I think of Brian as a brother from another mother. Thank you Brian for your nerdy public service. And three cheers for the underrated Copernicus and the...Read full review »

The host falsely accuses Sam Harris for talking about Trump and always coming back to Trump in every topic, but in reality the host is the one that mentions Trump more times than Sam, even asking him questions about him. Sad. And he wonders why more people don’t subscribe. Not to mention that he...Read full review »

Brian, I love your podcast, but your defense of slave ownership in your culture was truly horrible. Like it was somehow more morally appropriate that in other cultures. Sam is such a patient person! In his place, I would say to you that religion melted your once beautiful mind.

And Sam joins the ranks of podcast people who ask “right?” In the middle of every other sentence. So linguistically lazy.

TBH, I don’t understand the physics ones, but all the ones that don’t require any or at least too much physics, like the ones with with Eugenia Cheng (category theory) and Robert Spolsky, Eric Weinstein were great! Eric is one of the smartest and wittiest podcasters, as well.
