Brian says never had formal interview training, but it doesn’t take much to realize talking more than your guests, or taking 200 words to ask a question which could be asked with 20 is suboptimal. Self-edit, or get an editor/producer, you are wasting an opportunity and our time.

There are not many science podcasts that cover the range of topics that Brian does. And... not only does he cover them, he does it better than anyone! I cannot recommend this show enough.

Dr. Keating is a great interviewer as evident by his thought provoking questions to his guests.
