Professor Chris Aldrich has wide experience in the mineral processing and extractive metallurgical industries, particularly with regard to plant automation, continuous process improvement, statistical modelling and process control. He has published extensively in the chemical and metallurgical engineering literature, has been the recipient of a number of academic awards and honours and is actively involved in the mineral processing industries as a consultant.

Professor Steve Hall is a leading Australian academic in mining education. He is the Director of Curtin University’s Western Australian School of Mines with responsibility for multiple campus delivery of programs in applied geology, spatial sciences, exploration geophysics, mining engineering and metallurgical engineering to around 1800 students.
