Wow! Wanted so badly to listen to one of your earlier shows on Rom-coms...but the narrator’s spit smacking at the end of every sentence sent me over the edge. Ughh.

This used to be my favorite pod cast. This new season made me not only changed that but made me unsubscribe. It isn't a thought provoking podcast anymore, it is a long winded waste of time that makes me wonder what the point was at the end. Waste of time.Read full review »

The first 3 ep of season 7 has left me contemplating unsubscribing. I am not interested in political podcasts. I like behavior and social observations. This os probably a fine line. we will see what the next episode is before i make a move.

I’m sadly giving this now a 1 star review because the direction they’ve taking this show is not what it once was. I used to eagerly await a new episode or season to hear some more interesting ideas and concepts that relate to social science and the like. This has now become another investigative...Read full review »

Although these are topics I'm not used to hearing on Invisibilia, and the pacing is different in revealing those invisible "I did not expect that" components, they are still there and pretty cool and revealing. And it's ok that they aren't so quick and obvious as they used to...Read full review »

Just like it's totally ok to be black or brown or whatever color you happen to be by the grace of god , it's also ok to be white. We're all here in the present trying to figure out our collective past so that we don't have a worse future. I never thought I'd ever leave a...Read full review »

I just started listening and I really enjoy the show and love the hosts! I don’t have the issue of making comparisons, so I’m just enjoying the stories, and appreciating the vibe. Y’all came in hot with a reparations episode, lol. I didn’t even have to read the comments to know some folks were...Read full review »

I liked the old invisibilia - it had a bit of an edge to it. New one sounds exactly like the new radio lab aka not as good as the original. Check out earlier seasons if you’re new to it.

Storyline is well conceived...but the overwhelming load of sponsors make it unlistenable.sorry guys .... as you do good work.

I used to absolutely love Invisibilia. The episodes were insightful and made me think differently about why human act the way we do. I would listen to episodes several times and tell friends and coworkers to listen. It was powerful. Now it’s the typical political podcast with a agenda. The...Read full review »

This podcast is interesting and fun. I look forward to their show every week. I have seen people criticize the new hosts, so it might not be for you, but I still love it. Great job guys!

I completely agree with the most recent reviews. I used to love invisiblia but now this new season is very mainstream and boring. I sent in a story idea a long time ago when it was requested from listeners and I never got a reply disappointingly. Hearing the latest episodes (not interesting), I...Read full review »

The behaviour encouraged in “Eat the Rich” is so unconscionable and predatory. You are encouraging white people to venmo black strangers large sums of money (enough to inflict financial pain) even if they can’t afford to pay their bills. You are encouraging the same people to emotionally...Read full review »

Somehow this show is missing the magic it had before. Not a fan of the 209 Times series so far, it could have been just 1 episode for a topic that could have been on a dozen other podcasts I listen to. Nothing special anymore....

Love how this podcast takes quirky, oddball stories and takes its time to walk us through the story. It’s like intellectual playtime.

I think it’s clear that many of the bad reviews are due to discomfort with the subject matter of race and the hosts changing from white women to people of color. I was looking forward to the return of Invisibilia, like you look forward to your favorite TV show. The reporting/story telling is well done, but I have to admit, I’m disappointed. Used to be great! I like the new hosts quite a bit but the quality has gone down significantly, all topics aside it’s just no longer profound in the way it used to be. Now it feels more like spoon feeding. Hoping they find their footing next season and learn from this one, good luck!

Welcome to the newest “Let’s all hate white people” podcast from NPR. What happened? I wonder how many people have unsubscribed in the last few weeks, add one to that list (me).

I fell in love with Invisibilia's thought provoking storytelling, and I'm still a big fan. I appreciate a fresh perspective through the new hosts, and was excited to have them on. However the new episodes simply don’t live up to the “magic” of the older episodes. Its just too bias for me. I listened to the episode called “DIY Reparations”. I disagree with this whole idea. I used to be a real fan of this podcast. It was a little science and a little humanity all mixed together to show us that sometimes the world isn’t quite the way it appears. “Eat the Rich” = all white people are rich and evil; all black people are charity cases. Zero nuance. Zero thought put into this. I’ve loved the storytelling and creativity from this show for a while now!! But... more and more it’s starting to feel quite politically one-sided.
