Solid podcast despite reviews
I think it’s clear that many of the bad reviews are due to discomfort with the subject matter of race and the hosts changing from white women to people of color. An unfortunate but unsurprising revelation of self described “liberal listeners of NPR.” The “Eat the Rich” episode, which got so much negative attention that it actually convinced me to listen to it, is really good - interesting, well reported, and relevant. The vocal fry that the poor reviews sited were from one interviewee, not the hosts, who I thought did a great job. Will definitely be subscribing and listening to more episodes. Keep it up.
