Missing this. A great podcast, always interesting, and so good for adding to my ever expanding Bob Dylan songs and covers playlists. Next episode please. October 2023.

Fascinating guests who’ve met Dylan, know a lot about him or know someone who does. And still I’m only guessing who this man is, that’s the way Bob wants it to stay,

I ain’t no monkey but I know what I like. I like to listen to people speaking with knowledge, insight and enthusiasm about Bob. This podcast has informed me of so many great albums and tracks that I was unaware of or had overlooked.

A someone who listens to a LOT of music-related podcasts, I can easily say this is among the best, Dylan-related or otherwise. The hosts clearly have a deep knowledge of Dylan and a wide knowledge of people to talk with about him and his work. Each episode they have a great sense of questions...Read full review »

What a treasure! Hosts Kerry and Lucas are just excellent. Generous interviewers who also share their passion and insights beautifully. While their knowledge is encyclopedic, their conversations are playful, never pretentious. The recent episode with Matt Rowland Hill was just a thrill, maybe my...Read full review »

Is It Rolling, Bob drops every two weeks and I am eager to listen on the day it arrives. The words and music of Bob Dylan are treated with such love, respect and admiration by the fantastic and erudite guests. Hearing them recite the lyrics they have chosen as favorites inevitably gives even a...Read full review »

This is the kind of show that podcasts where invented for. If you love Dylan, this is a show where that love will be greeted and nurtured and enriched. This is an excellent podcast that has really sparked my interest in Dylan and is helping me dig deeper. It feels very inclusive and doesn’t create barriers for new fans while retaining minutiae and depth for more serious fans. Great set of guests who are thankfully not all celebs but are really...Read full review »

Although I originally started listening because I’m a massive fan, this podcast has developed and evolved over time to be about much more than Bob Dylan. Lucas and Kerry are great interviewers and the conversations about anything from life, creativity and obviously Bob, flow like natural...Read full review »

Found out about this show about a year ago and like most other reviews here am making my way through all of them. Easily my favourite music podcast. If the interviewee is someone you’ve not heard of or not interested in just listen - you won’t be disappointed.

Naturals, comfortable, open to and with their guests; I love that they agree to disagree on all (many?) things Bob Dylan. I wish many more memorable interviews and discussions for this pair of crazy guys. Thank you to their staff, production crew and contributors.

There are plenty of really great interviews on this pod with some interesting guests. Overall, though, the guests and hosts are overwhelmingly coming from a literary/theatrical background, which leads to a very narrow approach to their analysis over the course of the podcast. Bob Dylan isn’t...Read full review »

While there is too much slander of Street Legal (a beloved and weird masterpiece) for my taste, this podcast is a wonderful compliment to listening to and thinking about Dylan’s music. Thank you for the wonderful conversations.

Thank God for the guests on this show who bring something to the table - real insights. The hosts on the other hand view Dylan through their shallow political and religious views, almost trying to constantly prove how really, really woke they are. Insufferable. Edward nails Street Legal. His is the best encapsulation of why it’s probably the greatest Dylan album. For me it’s the other side of the coin to Astral Weeks but from the same place, one of complete surrender. For Morrison it was spiritual but for Dylan it was earthly - he’s down in the reeds...Read full review »

Can popular music be more than just the soundtrack to our lives? Is it rolling makes the case that just occasionally it can. To those who love Dylan it was always obvious. For those who don’t or for whom prejudice about ‘that voice’ they show why they should. Dylan is a singular genius

Not so much a podcast about Bob Dylan as a podcast about being a fan of Bob Dylan. The concept works brilliantly, with a different guest each show opening up on topics like when they first came across Bob, their favourite Bob period and whether they’ve ever got off the ‘Bob train’. The hosts are...Read full review »

These chaps do an excellent job. The world of Dylan is labyrinthine and enduring. I always find new ways to explore his works and these podcasts open up new avenues to do so. The authors aren’t slavish however and there is refreshing honesty in their views. Keep it going guys! I’m loving it.

Enjoyable podcast - format allows freedom to go off piste and talk about other artists and it’s great to hear what Bobs music means to people on a personal level. However some guests are inevitably better than others so for that reason 4 stars not 5
