Surah Maryam (Mary) is the 19th surah (chapter) in the Quran consisting of 98 verses. This surah is called Maryam - it tells the story of Prophet Zakaria (Zechariah) (Peace be upon him) and his family, as well as the birth of Prophet Isa (Jesus) (Peace be upon him) and his mother, Maryam (Mary) (may God be pleased with her).
