Analyze lessor known speeches
As a student of history (by which I mean a graduate student of history), I’m less interested in such popular history, and more interested in lessor known moments that reflect historical significance. I wish Meecham would do similar analysis of hidden gems of American oration. There are lots of interesting moments of speech-making that would be edifying through such study: speeches by little known university presidents, city councilmen, science lecturers, Army sergeants, grad school dissertation defenses. Please study and analyze those, Mr. Meacham.

I think the commentary is insightful and helpful to understand the speeches but it’d be nice to have both. One you can listen all the way through and then a second with the interruptions and commentary.
