Joe is very knowledgeable but also understands that true healing doesn’t happen unless we sit quietly with our pain on multiple occasions, process it, reframe it, and find a little self compassion on which to build so we can find approval and acceptance without the use of the usual outside sources. I think this is the most enlightening person I’ve heard speak on trauma and fear. It is so much different when you know a person has lived what you feel everyday.
