As a rock and mineral lover of MANY years who has been trying and failing to get a good grasp on geology, THANK you for this podcast. As someone who has never had the opportunity to study geology or earth sciences in a classroom setting and has been relegated to self-directed research, I can...Read full review »

Probably this podcast is now lost, but it's a shame all that knowledge got lost for want of some editing. The audio issues are bad, but it's also much too long. If all the filler words (so, like, you know, and many others) were cut then a half an hour could have been recovered.Read full review »

I really like this show and all the interesting information it provides, but it's honestly a little hard to listen to because of the volume difference between Jane and Ellen. They speak very softly and then laugh loudly into the microphone, it is very hard to listen to.

These ladies are so knowledgeable. I am really enjoying the episode centered geomorphology and I can’t wait to move on to volcanoes.

Thank you for sharing the wonder that is geology! The explanations are wide-ranging, yet concise, and the presentations make the science of geology readily accessible to the listener. Love the use of non-jargon-y terms like referring to lithification as the ‘hot squish’. Keep up the great work,...Read full review »

Just listened to the first ep, super informative. I also went to the ROM as a child and it was great to see your personal connections with geology. Keep up the great work!
