Jeff Taylor is a multi-book author, he has written for some of the top woodworking magazines. I am talking with him about woodworking, tools and a mind set for life we both share. We are talking online but someday I would love to visit his shop and talk for hours.

I have the great pleasure of sitting down today with Tracy Partridge-Johnson from Portland Pyrography. Pyrography is the technical term for wood burning, although it is so much more. Tracy takes this art to the level of a masterful artist.

For the longest time I have wanted to sit down with a logger and learn about where our wood comes from. I want to introduce you to Irwin Wright of High west Wood Products. Irwin has over 35 years of experience in both logging and wood processing.

On this episode I sit down with Brodey Carpenter owner and creative designer of Dredge Design. I met Brodey on a trip to the southern coast of Oregon. Although I had to brave a winding gravel road up into the woods to get to his shop, once there it was easy to see how inspirational this location was.

On this episode I speak with Robert Frisbee from beautiful Sisters Oregon about inspiration, mistakes and how to learn from them and how he is finding joy in his wood shop after retirement from the business world.
