They are NAR and follow Bill Johnson and Randy Clark. Sometimes blatant and sometimes subtle… but it is dangerous and deceptive. Stay clear of James River and their complete disregard for people of God. They will fleece you fast.

The JRC services always challenge me to live a life full devoted to God in all ways. I seek to be a man after God’s heart when I’m challenged from the word at James River.

It is a shame that the pastor came out to defend teaching by Bill Johnson

So glad I found James River! These are the kind of sermons I grew up with! Theologically sound with great life application! I’m involved with my local church, but listen to the JR podcasts and watch on YouTube regularly! What a blessing!

On point expository preaching that doesn’t hold back in a world of political correctness and sensitive topics

I’ve recently began going to hot yoga to try and recoup from an injury and was enjoying the workout! But I never could understand the purpose of yoga. I didn’t want to ask for fear of looking like an idiot... so I would just attend class and do the stretches. I always had a problem calling it a...Read full review »

I work in Afghanistan and I listen to the sermons via podcast. It helps hearing the word when so far from home. When I am home I am current with the rest of the church. God Bless.

John has a heart to share the Gospel in such a way to inspire believers to live like believers and to love a hurting world into the arms of Jesus. We had refused to go to the Wilson's Creek campus but God had another plan. I certainly would like to hear some of the praise and worship on here...Read full review »

My husband and I used to attend James River Assembly, and we loved it! Now that my husband is in the military we move around a lot. This podcast is a great way for us to still feel like we are part of the church, be encouraged, and discover what God is doing through James River. We love you guys....Read full review »

I am a Realife student and i REALLY wish that they would add some songs that we sing in Realife. I always have them stuck in my head but I can never get them for my ipod. They have very few of the song the the grown up church sings but none of the Realife songs. :^(

I lived in Branson for two very long years...married to a very dangerous, abusive man. When I filed a restraining order, my husband filed for divorce—putting our 3-year-old son (at the time) in the custody of the court. I fled for my life in October 2007...forced to leave my precious son behind...Read full review »

Since leaving James River to accept a job in Anchorage, AK we have not been able to find a church that teaches the Word of God with the heart and conviction JRA does. I snow plow as part of my job and the mornings can be cold and lonely. I listen to the JRA sermons as I plow. They help to...Read full review »
