The recipes are simple but work well for food during the week. There is no excuse to purchase ready made food when these are an alternative. I really like the way he is trying to encourage anyone and everyone to eat fresh food, be it simple or more complex. Unlike many other celeb chefs I really do think his goal is to ensure more people eat more fresh food and become healthier as a result. He should be encouraged in doing this seeing as schools seem to think this is no longer necessary. As a series to encourage this then he has succeeded.

I was always a bit dubious about the whole 'pass it on' idea, but the way these episodes are presented, one person teaching another, makes the receipe clear and obvious. Really nice food, and honestly - who doesn't enjoy a well-made omlette??
