Description
Aimee shares her story of signing up and competing in IBJJF Masters in Barcelona, having previously lived in Spain for some time. Aimee's primary sport is as a Former Powerlifter, and having come to the end of her competitive Junior career, she shares the commitment of being a competitive athlete to moving through martial arts, and on to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.   Training in an all-female training space is something that is a priority for Aimee, and the jiu jitsu school she attends. Aimee is proactive in preparing for competition and brings her competitive edge, regardless of in-the-moment challenges. We speak openly about social anxiety and how training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has supported her progress.
