“I write this particularly for those who don't know Joel Osteen and/or understand why he delivers his message the way he does. He doesn't pretend to be a traditionalist. He makes it very clear - he wants his message of salvation and promise to be the focus, not the rituals or the doctrines out of text. I think he's relatable, and comes across as someone who's gone through the struggles some of us have been through emotionally and otherwise. I appreciate his honestly, his willingness to come into our homes and heart and his determination to show us a better way of life. Close-minded and judgemental individuals would hate him; the open-minded and non-judgemental would love him. To each, his own.”Read full review »
