“I've just listened to the Catherine Liu interview and here are some things it made me think:
= If you have a guest, LET THEM SPEAK. It's an interview WITH someone not the interviewer's chance to let forth.
- If you have a guest, please rehearse your questions so we don't have to listen to a long ramble before we reach a very weak question.
- If you have a guest and they ask YOU a question, please do not avoid the question or answer with 'Here's what I've read which has nothing to do with your question.'
I don't even AGREE with Catherine Liu completely but I want to listen to what she has to say and this interview was frustrating to listen to as the interviewer seemed more interested in combatting her ideas rather than revealing them and letting the listener making up their own mind. It comes across as preachy and combative and not something that's enjoyable to listen to; it doesn't sound like Liu enjoyed the interview much either - and I don't blame her.”Read full review »
