Rabbi Rick Jacobs is the president of the Reform Jewish movements preeminent organization the URJ. He is both an intellectual powerhouse and a gifted communicator. The next best thing to hearing him in person is this podcast series. He discusses the moral and ethical issues that are raised in each week's Torah portion. Not only does he make them relevant for today, but Rabbi Jacobs easily calls upon the history of Jewish thought from the Talmud through Rabbi Lawrence Kushner.
