Description
In parallel with the premiere of The Jinx Part 2 on the Max streaming service, for Season 10 of this Jury Duty podcast we are presenting The Trial of Robert Durst: Greatest Hits. For each of the six weeks of The Jinx 2 series we are re-releasing four of our favorite episodes about the Durst trial from the Jury Duty feed… for a total of 24 episodes. This installment is Season 1 Episode 2: A History of Violence. Robert Durst tried to control his wife Kathie through violence, and that violence escalated until the day that Kathie Durst disappeared. "That is what the evidence will show," prosecutor John Lewin tells the jury in Durst's trial for the murder of his friend Susan Berman. Lewin continues his opening statement by asserting that Durst enlisted Berman to do "something for Bobby" that would make Berman a "loose end" that Durst felt compelled to "clean up."
