Bob’s failing health, halitosis (probably) and all around grizzeledness not withstanding, S1 is the GOLD STANDARD of an all-killer/no-filler podcast.
Obviously owes an enormous debt to the team behind the Jinx but even so - pitch perfect paving and commentary.
S2 is in real time so it takes some getting used to.
So there’s some feathering the main story with episodes devoted to topic I doubt anyone cares about - a nuanced look at the minutiae of Bob Durst’s upbringing. Susan’s daughter-ish person was poignant but (for me) it’s just too many degrees of separation from the central narrative.
Great story well told all around though.”

“… it is too long (50+ episodes) and repetitive. Season 1 was not too bad but season 2, especially with the addition of a host to chat about the case, was too much.”
