“Just my type scores big points for their podcasters with very different experiences and diagnoses and great chemistry! Sami has type one and follows a low fat, whole foods, plant based eating program that has helped her improve insulin sensitivity. She is studying and plans to work in a health and fitness related field. Dobie is a professional entertainer ( comedian!) with type 2 trying out moderate eating plans. Dobie does not have good health insurance coverage and has had difficulty accessing resources. They are both frank and open about their journey with diabetes. Between the two of them there is something we can all relate to! I really admire Dobie’s courage in sharing his work to improve his health and diabetes management. They each inspire
me and make me laugh hard!”

“This podcast is about real problems that require real conversations. Dobie and Sammie are great in talking about type one problems and the struggle of being a diabetic.
