Consider the source of your subject matter
Although there are many good things about this podcast it is sad to see the failings of KPJ turned into a smear campaign against the Guru tradition, which seems to be the intention of the host as he steers questions in that direction. I am very saddened as someone of Indian descent seeing the growing and problematic colonization and appropriation of Indian ways of being by westerners. These traditions existed eons before the west existed… It’s fine to modify things to fit into your own social preferences, but to slander and smear something that is so meaningful to the cultures that it is birthed from is truly disturbing. I am having to become increasingly distant from western teachers. I’m just glad to see there are a handful of teachers who still respect the lineages and traditions and will continue to seek those out. Please consider that you are using a marginalized culture for your own priveleged gains, and try to exercise a little kindness and awareness to those who exist within that culture.

The guests on the podcast share a lot of great insights and wisdom. However, the audio quality of the podcast is pretty bad tbh. Additionally, the host should really shop interrupting the guests!!!
