“I've only recently come by the Mark Kermode podcasts in the last month or two and am really pleased to have done so. I guess being at work from 9-5, you miss shows such as this - so thank heavens for technology, and the BBC. An insightful, interesting, informative yet light hearted 30+ minute roundup of current cinema releases with one the UK's premier film critics, ably aided by presenter Simon Mayo. Kermode is never afraid to speak his mind (which I appreciate) and the banter between the two presenters is always sharp and entertaining. If you're into cinema or just enjoy good banter between presenters who are both keen and highly knowledgeable on their subject, you could do a lot worse than to download this podcast. It really is wittertainment at its most wittertaining. I just wish "the Harvey Keitel story" was broadcastable, or at least readable somewhere!”Read full review »
