LTL (but for how long?)
I think I must have an addiction to the show. But I must say over my many years of listenership the show has become increasingly culturally political. Reined in by Simon Mayo, the Mark Kermode left leaning doesn’t come close to his solo effort Kermode on Film which is a virtue signaling wokefest. However this show certainly has its heart in the right place and it must be said a Kermode film review is something I almost always find myself in complete agreement with upon watching the movie in question. Which is why it’s so frustrating they don’t, or won’t, concentrate on what he’s good at. Which is reviewing films and advising the public what might be best for them in the cinema, instead of what might be best for them in life.

Absolutely brilliant! Irreverant, witty, erudite, flat out funny. Great, opinionated, and thorough film reviews. Wonderful conversation and great to listen to anytime. One of the best!
