Always timely, always amazing
As a teacher who believes that children’s literature is the best and most highly underrated art forms out there, I find so much light and joy in listening to this podcast. They discuss relevant and needed topics and emphasize the importance of exposure and discussion of these topics with our children! When listening, I am constantly looking up the books they discuss and add them to my online shopping carts. I often go back into the show notes later to make recommendations to others. I have to admit that Nicole and Matthew feel like friends or colleagues of mine with their playful voices and beautiful laughs. Keep doing what you are doing! It matters!

I was glad to find this podcast! As a school librarian, I was a Karina Yan Glaser and Matthew Winner fan already, and to hear them talk about books together is so fun. Some of the books I know, and some are new to me. I love when Matthew talks about pairings. I look forward to more episodes.

Makes you bop your head shimmy your shoulders a bit as you start adding books to your TBR pile. Excellent podcast, it’s helped me a lot with doing juvenile reader advisory and my favorite so far is the audiobook episode. Thanks guys!
