No matter the host, from Karina, to Matthew, to Nicole, this is one of THE best children’s literature podcasts around! It’s filled with inclusive book recommendations, author interviews, and more!

I adore this podcast. I’m a youth services librarian and it’s so incredible to have a podcast like this that just lets you do a bit of a deep dive into the magic that is children’s literature. We so often think these books are just for children, but this podcast reminds us that the lessons within...Read full review »

Love this podcast so much! I appreciate the deeper dive into topics that are so important to bring to the forefront and that are not always highlighted in the industry at large. Thank you so much for your work and these conversations. Appreciate you both, Nicole and Matthew!

Makes you bop your head shimmy your shoulders a bit as you start adding books to your TBR pile. Excellent podcast, it’s helped me a lot with doing juvenile reader advisory and my favorite so far is the audiobook episode. Thanks guys!

I am a 3rd grade teacher in Utah and I have really enjoyed listening to this podcast. The school I teach at is quite uniform. As a result, I rarely have to confront some of the tough issues they have talked about so far. I also rarely hear this side of the story. I have loved listening to and...Read full review »

I was glad to find this podcast! As a school librarian, I was a Karina Yan Glaser and Matthew Winner fan already, and to hear them talk about books together is so fun. Some of the books I know, and some are new to me. I love when Matthew talks about pairings. I look forward to more episodes.
