Excellent, especially for the format
On the whole, I prefer "scripted" podcasts. It takes a lot for me to recommend a "conversational" podcast. As a general rule, I don't listen to them as they are more than likely to contain little more than a few friends sitting around hemming and hawing like, well, regular folks. I can get that by eavesdropping at Starbucks and too many conversational podcasts manage little more than to be exactly as edifying. The guys behind this podcast are smart, well-versed in their subject matter and possess a sense of flow/pace that keeps them from committing many of the sins that make other discursive programs unlistenable. So, in all, this podcast is measurably better than creepily listening-in on random conversations at your local coffeeshop. To me, that is pretty high praise.Read full review »
