The best coach I don’t pay for
I read everything Koop writes, I have his book and listen to his interviews. As a self coached athlete, I look to learn as much as I can from coaches like Koop, Mario And Magness to inform my training. I was really happy he decided to start a podcast because his views are science based and not at all for or against anything. His book shows that he can take an athlete in any stage and work with them to produce results. Having just gone vegan for environmental reasons, I noticed I was also recovering a lot faster and eating much healthier. His first episode was with a vegan and a nutritionist which was perfect for me right now. I went vegan for the environment and animal welfare, I want to stay vegan and have it work with my athletic goals. Thanks Koop, keep it up! I’m @gazzellie on Twitter, so I say hello often!

Brilliant informative podcasts. No waffle or self-indulgent chats about himself. Just great interviews and insight. Keep doing what you do.

I'm not an elite runner or even middle of the pack but I've really enjoyed listening to all these episodes. Informative, insightful and well paced. I'm looking forward to more!Read full review »

This guy pushes his point of view so hard that there is no point in having guests. He bulldozes the conversations sometimes literally making his guests say what he wants them to. I can’t stand him there are enough good ultra podcasts out there.
